This is what I'm working on, and a little bit about how I'm thinking, right now.

Professional

Vice President of Engineering at Wolfe LLC.

I've chosen to step back from department leadership to focus on managing corralling a small group of incredibly talented engineers. We work on critical backend systems, most notably the fulfillment pipeline that facilitates all physical and digital gift cards from our company's selling systems.

Personal

Music

I'm interested in increasing my understanding of music theory and developing my ear. I exercise this curiosity by tinkering with the keyboard, delving into Logic Pro, following an ear training course that I constructed for myself with Claude. The jury is still out on how good of a teacher Claude will be, but it has been an engaging process.

I am also working on developing a small repertoire of "campfire songs" that I can play and sing with my guitar, but that progress is slow as I'm a very beginning singer.

Running

I like to run. Recently, I've evaluated my motivations and decided the main purpose of training for running is so that I can run more. This has led me to follow a Zone 2 heart rate discipline. It is very enjoyable.

Game Development

I don't have any terribly active projects, but I conceptualizing a Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest homage. I am unsure if I will finish it. However, I'd like to understand why I am facinated with this game even though I barely played it as a kid.
